BMT stands for Bali Memorial Trust. Bali Memorial Trust is a tax-exempt public charity founded in 1997 by Mian Nusratuddin and Mrs. Laila Nusrat, in the loving memory of their son, Iqbal (affectionately known as Bali), whom they lost at a very young age. BMT is registered with Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984. BMT was formally registered as an organization in 2008.

Our mission is to achieve the target set for Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in Pakistan. We aim to empower the impoverished to enable them to lead productive and dignified lives by providing comprehensive support to all age groups. Achievement of its mission prompted Bali Memorial Trust to adopt a holistic approach to essential need of society.

Bali Memorial Trust has been working for more than two decades as it was founded in 1997.

Bali Memorial Trust is a non-profit organization registered with Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984. BMT is approved by Pakistan Center of Philanthropy (PCP), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Economic Affairs Division (EAD).

Bali Memorial Trust is a professionally managed charity that is run by a Board of Directors, endeavoring together to make a difference in people’s and communities’ lives. Currently, Mrs. Laila Nusrat is working as the chairperson of Bali Memorial Trust. These community leaders worked together and Bali Memorial Trust (BMT) was established primarily aiming to bring relief to the underprivileged community.
